Ford Sales Reports From May Show Some Improvement

Given the considerable turmoil in the new-car market,  automakers are looking for any good news that they can find. In Ford's case, the good news is that sales numbers for the month of May were an improvement over the previous month by 20 percent. The biggest hurdle faces rising demand for electric and plug-in hybrids is the accessibility of public recharging areas.

Many would be driver of electric vehicles are discouraged due to their short range.  Charging at home is an option, but what if your travels to and from work would extend beyond the range of the vehicle?  This presents a problem and the solution is not easy.

In a new (and very brief) report, UK's Channel4 reports that a production version of Volkswagen's comely BlueSport concept has been delayed.
