New York auto show: updated 2010 Mazda CX-9 set to debut

minThe Mazda stand at next month’s New York auto show will be bustling with three different debuts. An updated 2010 version of the company’s award winning CX-9 crossover will make its world debut, while the 2010 CX-7 has its American introduction. Completing the trio is the 2010 Mazdaspeed 3, which enjoys its North American rollout following its global reveal in Geneva. We will have to wait until the show for complete change details for the new CX-9, but from the released photo we can pick-up the mild exterior revisions. The front fascia sports a new five-point grille that has already been employed on the RX-8, MX-5 and Mazda 3. Joining the grille are new headlights, fog lamps and side mirror housings. Mazda says the interior styling is also updated with an expanded options list. Expect chassis improvements to include increased rigidity and recalibrated suspension settings for sharper handling.
